Wednesday 27th September 2011 - Due to phenomenal demand, extra tickets have been released for the ‘Blackberry presents Tinie Tempah’ tour. The award winning artist has also announced his full supporting line up, which will change from city to city, but will include previously announced J. Cole and Nero and newly added Redlight and Labrinth *please see below for full line up for each show
Tinie Tempah’s number one, debut album ‘Disc-overy’ has achieved double platinum sales in the UK.
On top of the 2 Brit Awards he won at this year’s ceremony – one for Best Single for track ‘Pass Out’ and the other for Best Breakthrough Artist, he’s won an Ivor Novello for Best Contemporary Song, he was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, he won Best Solo Act at the GQ Awards and has been nominated for the Best Male Solo at the Q Awards 2011 held in October, he is also appearing on the cover of this month’s Q as no. 1 of 25 anniversary covers. On top of all this, he’s the first British Hip Hop Artist to sell a million copies of his debut single in America.
Not only has he cemented his place at the top of the charts, he’s also achieved huge critical acclaim in the live arena, having played to huge crowds at several of the UK’s biggest festivals over the summer.
